Learn the basics of starting a small business from local, experienced, small business professionals.  In a lecture and open discussion format with peer entrepreneurs you will learn about:

  • Step-by-Step Guide to Starting a Business
  • Website Design Strategies
  • Choosing the Legal Structure That's Right For You
  • Purchasing the Proper Business Insurance
  • Sources of Business Funding
  • Building Successful Marketing & Sales Plans
  • Bookkeeping Tips and Strategies  
Fee:  Hundreds of dollars' worth of legal, financial, marketing and management expertise for only $90 (pre-paid) or $110 (at-the-door) (add a business partner for $50).  Fee includes paid lunch for all participants.
